Check Transmission Fluid
Check transmission fluid monthly with engine warm and running, and
parking brake on. Shift to drive, then to park. Remove dipstick, wipe dry, insert it and
remove it again. Add the approved type fluid, if needed. Caution: Do Not Overfill!
Transmission Service
Check your owner's manual for recommended intervals. Most
manufacturers recommend every 20,000 to 30,000 miles or annual service.
Our service routine begins with noting your concerns; checking fluid
level, color and consistency: and performing a road test. We then access your vehicle's
computer and check for any trouble codes and perform a visual inspection for leaks, wear
and damage.
This is the same diagnostic process performed for a transmission
